The EBCONT Pride Boat

A sign for diversity

The EBCONT team sets a sign for acceptance, respect and equal rights on the Danube Canal. The colors of the rainbow lit up Vienna's city center.

The festively decorated ship “Vindobona” sails along the Danube Canal in Vienna with many people on board at the EBCONT Pride Boat Event. Rainbow flags fly from the boat, while modern and historic buildings and street art can be seen on the banks.

A new milestone

Diversity has arrived at EBCONT

2023 is the year of the foundation of the EBCONT Diversity Team around the 6 dimensions. Many colleagues - experts in their field - work actively in groups and enrich the year with many events, impulses, learning sessions and also critical discussions.

The word "diversity@ebcont". Above the text is a six-part, colorful symbol with the colors yellow, violet, green, blue, orange, and pink. The word “diversity” is in black letters, “@ebcont” is in purple, handwritten script below.

Diversity and our goals

The EBCONT Diversity Team with its specialists for the individual dimensions is to be seen as a supporting team of the management. It supports the achievement of the goals set in the various dimensions of diversity. As an internal approach, we have set up guidelines to establish the topic of diversity at EBCONT - the following are listed here.

Definition of the topic
Advising management on internal processes
Formulation of a company-wide offer
Planning and execution of 1-2 events per year (per dimension)
Involvement of affected persons in planning
Active, company-wide communication (e.g. via lounges)
Prioritization, quick wins, maintaining balance at the same time
